Hurricane protection
Hurricane accordion shutters
Accordion shutters stay mounted beside your windows and doors all year. When a storm is coming, slide them closed and lock them in minutes. No panels to store, no rushing to the hardware store.

Storm-ready in minutes
Accordion shutters are one of the most popular ways to protect a Florida home. The panels fold neatly to the side of each opening and stay there, out of the way, until you need them. Before a storm, you pull them across the window, lock them in the center, and you're done.
Angelo's measures every window and door, makes your shutters to fit, and installs them ourselves. Because we're the same family that sold you the shutters, you call the same people if a track, lock or blade ever needs attention.
Not sure if accordion shutters or impact windows are the better fit for your home and budget? We'll show you both at your free estimate and give you an honest recommendation.

Hurricane shutters questions.
How long does it take to close accordion shutters?
Most windows take a minute or two. You slide each side across the opening and lock it in the center, so a whole house can usually be closed up in well under an hour.
Accordion shutters or impact windows: which is better?
Accordion shutters are usually the more affordable option and protect your openings when you close them. Impact windows and doors protect around the clock with nothing to close, and they also cut noise and heat. We'll walk you through both at your free estimate.
Can hurricane shutters lower my insurance?
Many Florida homeowners qualify for a wind-mitigation discount after adding approved storm protection. Ask your insurance agent what your policy offers.
When should I get hurricane shutters installed?
Before hurricane season starts on June 1 is ideal, because demand goes up as storms approach. You can call us any time of year for a free estimate.
